Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Systematic overview of the history of the East Slavic area: political, social, cultural and linguistic history, from the Urslavic community to the present day. The course material will be presented in the form of lectures, allowing students to participate directly in the discussion of the topics. An important task will be to show the reasons for the differences in the worldviews of Ukrainians, Russians and Belarusians today.
Assessment and permitted materials
Four examination dates: Single-choice test (60 questions) at the end of the semester and 3 further dates in October, November and December 2024. All aids are prohibited during the written exam.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Grade levels:
100,00 % - 90,00 % (1)
89,99 % - 80,00 % (2)
79,99 % - 70,00 % (3)
69,99 % - 60,01 % (4)
60,00 % - 0,00 % (5)
For each correct answer in the test - 1 point.
A minimum score of 31 points (= 31 correct answers out of a maximum of 60 possible correct answers) is required to obtain a positive grade.
