Aims, contents and method of the course
Further developing of vocabulary and communication as well as written skills, working on basic grammar topics incl. aspects, declination etc.
Assessment and permitted materials
Written and oral homeworks as well as tests during the semester, oral Presentation
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Ability to communicate in routine daily situations, to exchange basic information and to write short compositions on different topics; to read texts understanding them and being able to reproduce their content. The students are supposed to be able at the end of semester to make some presentations on the topic or book of their choice.
Examination topics
Basic daily communication in small dialogs and roles plaid in simple situations; writing exercises; auditive reception training also using famous songs etc.

Lehrbuch der ukrainischen Sprache: S. Amir-Babenko, Hamburg: Helmut Buske Verlag, 2007, 303 S. (starting with 13. Lecture) + 'Krok' (published in Ukraine) + other materials in electronic form for printing and practicing
