Aims, contents and method of the course

The event will focus on different processes of the development of East Slavic languages in the XX-ХХI century.

Assessment and permitted materials

The main components for grading the course will be essays on the course topic, participation in discussions, students' research initiative in preparing material for the essays and discussions, and course attendance.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Acquisition of the different aspects of the dynamics of the East Slavic languages in the XX century.
If necessary to clarify the assessment for individual students, a quiz on the lesson material and a verbal discussion may be held to ascertain the degree of mastery of the course material.

Preparation of lectures, presentations, subsequent discussions

Reading list

The literature research for the presentation is the responsibility of the students and also flows into the final grade of the course.
If necessary, the selected literature list can be discussed with the teacher. For each presentation it is obligatory to present and briefly describe the literature used for preparation.
