Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The ability to analyze and evaluate even the most demanding philological texts on a high level. In addition to the texts from everyday life, the lecture deals with subjects of linguistics, literature and culture. Exercise teaches basic knowledge about the functional styles and stylistic figures and tropics and builds practical skills in dealing with texts.
Assessment and permitted materials
Written examination (dates will be discussed in the course). Regular attendance as well as active participation are also considered.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Exercise helps to understand linguistic, literary, and cultural texts and to reproduce their contents in writing as well as verbally. Deepening knowledge about the functional styles and stylistic figures.
Examination topics
Material of the exercises (topics, grammar, vocabulary, text analysis).
