Aims, contents and method of the course

Tutorial during the summer term: every Tuesday (starting March 3), 18:30-20:00 SR4 Slawistik

Basic knowledge on Slavic languages and Slavonic Studies will be taught.
Topics:
• Classification and categorisation of Slavic languages
• Proto-Slavic and Slavic ethnogenesis
• Old Church Slavonic
• Slavic writing systems
• Historical background of Slavic languages
• Formation of Slavic standard languages
• History of Slavonic Studies

Assessment and permitted materials

Single-choice-exam, 50 questions. Non-native German speakers may use a dictionary.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Minimum requirement for a positive assessment is at least 50% correct answers.
100 - 87 %: Sehr gut / Very good
86,99 - 75 %: Gut / good
74,99 - 63 %: Befriedigend / Satisfactory
62,99 - 50 %: Genügend / Sufficient
49,99 - 0 %: Nicht genügend / Not sufficient
