Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Theoretical and language specific issues of language change in time and space, particularly with regard to the shifts in the core morpho-syntactic types will be discussed.
Students will gain ground stock knowledge about the functioning and development of core language structures focusing on Russian, as well as other Slavic languages.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

An introductory lecture on linguistics should be ideally already done.
