Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The term folklore in the narrower sense encompasses the oral traditions of people. In a broader sense, folklore refers to the entirety of all "popular" traditions and can be found all over the world. The KO pursues the goal of introducing subject-related texts and programmatic statements into the different areas, issues and orientations of Russian folklore. The course should also lead to identifying and assessing the interfaces between folklore and literature.
