Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The lecture offers a linguistic overview of the current norm of standard Czech at the different language levels: Basic knowledge of synchronic linguistics, familiarity with the relevant linguistic methods and the relevant literature are the contents of the lecture. The theoretical knowledge is applied to standard Czech and its constitutive levels.
Lectures introduce students to the main areas of the field of study. In particular, it is their task to deal with the important facts and doctrinal opinions in the field and to address the current state of scientific research. They consist of lectures by the teacher as well as other forms of presentation.

Assessment and permitted materials

Oral examination on the lecture content based on an examination questionnaire. Examination dates according to the possibilities until revocation at any time by arrangement.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

For a positive result, at least more than half of the exam questions must be answered exhaustively. The other half can be divided into four quarters, from each of which the final grade is calculated according to the number of questions answered.

Examination topics

The exam content is based on the lecture (script is provided on Moodle).

A script for the course is made available via the Moodle teaching platform. This also contains an overview of the relevant literature.
