Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
texts on the mutual perception of Poles and Russian fromthe 19 th and 20th century, staring from Pushkin and Mickiewicz up to Milosz and Solzenicyn allow to conclude on stereotypes as well as on their deconstruction
Assessment and permitted materials
taking part at all the sessions, presentation, written paper
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
knowledge of central positions in the Polish-Russian discourse of the 19th and 20th century, understanding of the dialectics of auto- and heteroimages
Examination topics
introduction by the lecturer, text interpretation by the participants, presentations
