Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The KO deals with orthographies of the South Slavic languages from a synchronic and diachronic perspective. Following the discussions of relevant terminology, approaches, and concepts, we will turn to orthographies in the respective languages, and discuss relevant reforms and rules. During the semester, students will have to prepare assigned texts and topics, which will then be presented and discussed in class or in small groups.
Assessment and permitted materials
As the Colloquium implies continuous assessment of course work, students must attend online classes and prepare assigned tasks. Students are expected reading the given literature, actively participating and taking part in discussions. The attendants will have to prepare assigned topics and/or reading material, the findings will be presented and discussed in class online or in another given format. At the end of the semester, a final discussion will bring together the course content.
