Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Texte müssen uns nicht nur als linear zu lesende Texte präsentiert werden, sondern können auch als Hörspiel, Comic, Videospiel, vertont, verfilmt, dramatisiert oder in noch anderer Form dargeboten werden. Autor*innen können selbst von einem Medium zum anderen wechseln, es können aber auch andere ihre Texte in ein anderes Medium transformieren. Wir werden formal ‚klassische‘ literarische Texte zunächst gründlich analysieren, um uns dann im zweiten Schritt – theoretisch fundiert – deren Transformationen zu widmen. Was wird im Zuge des Medienwechsels verändert? Worin liegt das performative Potential? Geht etwas verloren? Wird etwas hinzugewonnen? Usw.
Assessment and permitted materials
Diskussion, 2–3 Kurzpräsentationen, schriftlicher Essay (5–7 S.; Abgabetermin: 31. Januar 2024) – alle Hilfsmittel erlaubt.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Regelmäßige Teilnahme, durch Diskussionsbeteiligung nachgewiesene Textlektüre (30%), positiv bewertete Kurzpräsentationen (30%) und positiv bewerteter Essay (40%); zum Bestehen müssen alle Teilleistungen positiv erbracht und mindestens 60% erreicht werden (100–90% Sehr gut, 80–89% Gut, 79–70% Befriedigend, 69–60% Genügend).
Examination topics
Die in der Lehrveranstaltung behandelten Primärtexte, ausgewählte theoretische Literatur zum Thema.
Reading list
Zur ersten Einführung in das Thema seien Arbeiten zu Fragen der Intermedialität wie z. B. Irina O. Rajewsky, Intermedialität. Tübingen 2002; Volker C. Dörr (Hrsg.), Intertextualität, Intermedialität, Transmedialität. Zur Beziehung zwischen Literatur und anderen Medien. Würzburg 2014 oder Dennis Cutchins, Katja Krebs, Eckart Voigts (Hrsg.), The Routledge Companion to Adaptation. London 2018 empfohlen (weitere Hinweise erfolgen während des Semesters).
