Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
South-Slavic Literary Currents from the 18th to the End of the 19th Centuries such as Enlightenment, romanticism, realism, symbolism, expressionism, futurism, the way they developed and their impact on the respective national societies.
Assessment and permitted materials
Based on continuous participation and collaboration: the latter will consist in preparations of texts at home, their short oral presentation during the lessons. Tests during the course will control the level of knowledge.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Deepening of the knowledge regarding literary currents of Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian and Slovenian literature as well as their respective interrelations with the European cultural framework.
Examination topics
Examples of characteristic literature will contribute to the understanding of the philosophical and the societal backgrounds of the respective stylistic tools and the poetic messages will be analysed.

The selected literary examples of Voltaire, Beaumarchais, Dositej Obradovic, A. T. Linhart; Chateaubriand, F. Pre¨eren, J. J. Zmaj, Ma¸uranić, A. Comte, G. Sande, J. Jurčič, Stanković, A. ¦enoa, Baudlaire, Cankar, Murn, Mato¨, Marinetti will be the basis of discussion and analysis.
