Aims, contents and method of the course

The lecture offers an overview of the development of the Slavic verbal system starting with Proto-Slavic (the earliest reconstructable Stratum) in comparison to other IE daughter languages, up to the present. The phocus lies on the concept of language change in morphology, as well as on the typology of the language change phenomena in the system of the verb.
