Aims, contents and method of the course

Teaching Children's Literature in Primary School, Didactic application of literary texts in classroom; framework of teaching literature in classroom, different types of motivation, reading literary text, interpretation of literary text (creative literary didactic, problem solving, Gianni Rodari methods etc.). Classroom activities. Comparative analysis of Slovenian and Austrian Language Arst (and Literature) Curriculum.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Slovenian and European booklist (in Slovenian language) in classroom. Student-oriented framework for literary didactic. Teaching literature as polysistem. Using multimedia in classroom. (Framework, methods, aims objectives). Planning classroom activities (language, literature, culture).

Examination topics

Different methods (lecture, dialogue, meetings, presentations, multimedia). Teaching training.
