Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This course is designed to provide basic grammatical structures of the Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian language together with a basic vocabulary. Upon completion, students should be able to communicate when dealing with various situations in daily life. Diverging usage of vocabulary or grammar issues will be addressed.

Assessment and permitted materials

Regular attendance and active participation is mandatory for the student to complete all course requirements (maximum of three excused absences), homework, three successful written tests.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

To receive a positive final grade, each of the four sections below must be passed successfully:
1. Your homework assignments and participation in class: at least 15% of 25%
2. Test 1: at least 15% of 25%
3. Test 2: at least 15% of 25%
4. Test 3: at least 15% of 25%.
