Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

In this seminar, students have the opportunity to reflect on their practical experiences gained during the individual study support. The focus of the reflection sessions can be set and continually adjusted according to the wishes and needs of the participants.

The aim of the seminar is to enable students to self-reflect and to strengthen resilience and conflict resolution strategies. The reflection circles should provide a protected space in which the participants can discuss current topics. Knowledge and experiences acquired will also be extended to the practical field of inclusive education in schools and universities.
The reflection sessions take place in the course group, or, if agreed, individually or with the person being supported. The experiences will be documented in a final project at the end of the semester.

Important: As part of the course package, students provide 50 hours (à 60 minutes) of individual support for students in need of support. The course leader works in a dual role as coordinator behind the Individual Study Support (ISU) project and therefore knows the needs of students with impairments who apply for individual study support.
