Aims, contents and method of the course
Students are introduced to the theoretical and practical foundations of counseling, support and pedagogical diagnostics in the context of inclusive learning and performance processes in the context of schoolchildren. In dealing with current publications on the one hand, as well as critical questions about the possibilities and limitations of developmental support and diagnostics on the other hand, students learn against the backdrop of psychoanalytical pedagogical and developmental theoretical considerations to understand the individual living and learning situation of children. The educational relevance of this critical discourse opens up an understanding of school difficulties, which also highlights methods of teaching and learning cultural techniques and language from a current, scientific perspective.
Assessment and permitted materials
Literature study of selected works, critical methodical examination of questions of pedagogical diagnostics, identification of concepts of parental counseling, connection of experiences of educational practice with research-relevant questions on the topic.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Attendance, proseminar work, scientific research and participation in the creation of a literature database on the topic. Presentation in the lecture
