Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This course will cover the basic electronic devices based on low-dimensional materials. The emphasis will be placed on electrical, vibrational and optical properties and devices of graphene, carbon nanotubes and transition metal dichalcogenides. The course will be taught through lectures and exercises, and corroborated via student seminars. The seminar topics are decided during the course and will be based on recent scientific literature.

Assessment and permitted materials

1/2 of the grade will come from the seminar, and the other 1/2 from solved exercises during the course.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Both the seminar and the exercises need to be passed separately in order to get a positive grade.
