Planned dates: Every second Monday, 16:00 - 17:30.Start with 07. 10. 2024, SR 2Seminar = Course with continuous assessment! Therefore:
• Attendance is compulsory during the whole semester.
• Absence is only possible with a justified & timely excuse.
• Unexcused absence at the first meeting = deregistration.
• Any unexcused absence in the further course of the semester = negative assessment.

Through this seminar, students gain a fundamental understanding of scientific publishing and the various aspects attached to it, with a focus on Analytical Chemistry.
This can be useful, e.g., in writing the master thesis or own publications.Content:
• Familiarization with the scientific publication system
• Critical analysis of scientific publications
• Practicing oral presentations & asking questionsMethod:
• Presentation of selected scientific publications from the field of analytical chemistry by the students
• Subsequent critical discussion with all seminar participants
• Talking about the individual parts of scientific publications
• Discussion of selected aspects from the area of scientific writing and publishing
