Aims, contents and method of the course

Aim: After successful completion of the course, students are able to read, write an abstract of the main findings and discuss the newest research developments in proteomics, metabolomics, lipidomics, bioinformatics or imaging techniques.
Methods: reading, presentation and discussion of recent publications in proteomics, metabolomics, bioinformatics and imaging techniques for Master and PhD students in Austria (cross university) via online Meetings (Google Hangouts).

Assessment and permitted materials

Article presentation for each student, reading of the articles prior to presentation, active course participation, discussion of scientific results in the area metabolomics, lipidomics, proteomics, bioinformatics or imaging techniques.
