Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This seminar offers students working on their PhD thesis (and postdoctoral researchers) the opportunity to present and discuss their projects. The focus is on topics related to animal communication and cognition. The goal is to conceptually and methodologically analyse, and improve, ongoing studies (from the proposal phase to the analysis and writing). Occasional guest lectures will be given by external researchers.

Assessment and permitted materials

Presence is obligatory; oral presentation, contribution to discussions

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Grading will be based on presentation (80%) and contributions to discussions (20%)
