Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This seminar is only for PhD students and prospective PhD students of the Archaea Biology and Ecogenomics Unit of the Department of Functional and Evolutionary Biology to discuss ongoing research projects and to practice public presentations. The objectives of the seminar are to practice the presentation of research methods and results, scientific communication and discussion, and the required literature research to evaluate results in the context of the international state of the art.
Assessment and permitted materials
Presentation of ongoing research project and peer feedback on the presentations of other students' presentations.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Students have to be present and participate in discussions, presentation of ongoing research project.
Examination topics
Presentation of ongoing research project.
Reading list
Literature depends on discussed research topics and will be suggested in the seminar.
