Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The seminar is restricted to PhD students of the Department of Neurosciences and Developmental Biology. Attendance is mandatory. The seminar consists of a general lab organisation part and a progress report by one of the students. The aim of the progress report is to train students to present their work in a comprehensive manner to an expert audience and reflect on their achievements and future work.

Assessment and permitted materials

The student's ability to present his/her work in an oral presentation will be assessed. In addition, the active participation and contribution to the discussion during the seminar will be assessed.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Active participation and delivery of at least 1 progress report per semester.
