Aims, contents and method of the course

The chemically peculiar stars (spectral types between B0 and F5) are a good test field to study important stellar processes like diffusion,
pulsation, rotation, convection and the influence of a magnetic field on the stellar interior. An extensive overview of this star group with the focus on open clusters and the comparison between observations and theoretical models
is given.
