Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The focus of this seminar are qualitative (including interpretative) and participatory research approaches. This course will be very much shaped by the participating PhD students, their work and their questions. In the first meeting of the course students will tell about the current state of their dissertation and their specific methodological interests and we will then decide about the exact texts and presentations.
Assessment and permitted materials
Students will do an oral presentation, peer feedback and will hand in a written exposé of their methodological approach.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
-) Regular and active participation in the course and in the discussion; providing feedback for colleagues
-) Presentation of the methods and methodologies used (or planned to be used) in the dissertation
