Aims, contents and method of the course

Microbiological fundamentals (taxonomy, magnitudes in microbiology, morphology, stuctures, genetics) of bacteria, fungi and viruses as well as prions; microbiological metabolism and growth; biotechnology, microbiological laboratory working techniques (cultivation, sterilization, laboratory safety, risk classes, microscopy, identification and quantification of microbes, quality checks, pharmacopoeia standards, HACCP, GMP, cleaning, disinfection, preservation.
