Aims, contents and method of the course

ECTS-points: 20
Crystal growth and low frequency elastic measurements. Dielectric measurements on crystals in the vicinity of the phase transition of ferroelectric materials. Optical investigation of crystals with the polarizing microscope (Axiophot, Zeiss ) at various temperatures. Holography with photorefractive crystals. Computersimulation.
