Fundamentals: Characteristics for analyte determination, adsorption, absorption and mechanisms of related molecular interactions, chemical recognition, modelling of analyte inclusion, saturation and dynamic range, time course behaviour
Transducer: micro-calorimeter, IDC-elements, capacitive and resistive sensors, ChemFETs, optrodes, mass sensitive sensors (QMB, SAW)
Applications: detection of ions in waste water, gases and vapours in workplace monitoring, explosion protection, process control in chemical industry, medical technology (analysis of blood).
Electrochemical Analysis: Theoretical background and analytical application of conductimetry, potentiometry, voltammetry, polarography, amperometry and coulometry.
Radiochemical Analysis: nuclear radiation, measurement and analytical information parameters of signals; tracer analysis (indicator methods and isotope-dilution analysis), neutron-activation analysis.
Immunoanalysis: antibodies (structure, function, monoclonal antibodies, polyclonal antisera); antigens and haptens, antigen-antibody-interactions, systematic summary of methods, labelling of antigens or antibodies (radioactive labels, enzymatic labels, luminescence and phosphorescence). Immunoassays and immunometric assays.
