Contents of the lecture are the basic topics of geometrical crystallography (symmetry, point- and space groups, structure defects (real crystal, disorder, twins), crystal physics (mechanical, electrical and optical properties, diffraction methods) and crystal chemistry (bonding, structure types, sili-cates).
