Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The excursion leads to important archaeological and Pleistocene mammal site on the Crimean peninsula, e.g. Emine-Bair-Khosar cave, Binbashi cave. Stratigraphically important Upper Pleistocene sites and material will be explained and latest investigations (DNA and Radiocarbone dating-AMS) considered, together with colleagues from Ukraine (8 days).
