ECTS Points: 4,5
The course "Animal Physiology II" continues the lecture "Introduction to Animal Physiology II: Metabolism". The course is divided into several units, which demonstrate basic experimental routine (intention, design, investigation, protocol, interpretation and discussion). The units encompass different aspects of metabolic physiology (respiration, circulation, nutrition, enzymes, osmotic and ionic regulation) and aim to impart theoretical and practical basic knowledge of chemical and physiological methods (polarography, photometry, titration, chromatography, cryoscopy). Protocols and verbal examinations per unit are used to evaluate successful participation.
