809628 SE SE: Topics in morphometrics (2005S)

This is a 2-hour seminar course, taught several times before, dealing with advanced subjects in morphometrics. Topics will probably include semilandmarks on surfaces, multiscale representation of deformations, and new statisical methods for modelingvariability of shape. Students will be expected to carry out some applied project, perhaps involving scientific programming, and to submit a final report.
