The course will impart basic knowledge in the field of plant biotechnology. The most important types of cultures will be presented and the main parameters for in vitro-cultivation will be discussed. On the basis of practical examples the course will focus on the production of secondary metabolites as well as the mass propagation of genetically homogenous plants.
