The objective of the course is to give the students knowledge of scientific research methods.
The scientific topics comprise the synthesis of heterocycles and other biologically active compounds. Furthermore spectroscopic techniques are applied to pharmaceutical compounds.
The students are trained to use scientific PC-software and chemical data bases as well as to interprete spectral data and to write scientific papers.
