Aims, contents and method of the course

An overview of the following topics will be provided:
1. the rules governing the authorization and distribution of medicinal products in the EU
2. Structure and functioning of the European Agency for the evaluation of medicinal products (EMEA)
3. Authorization procedures for medicinal produchts in the EU
4. Pharmacovigilance, the supervision of the safety of medicines at European Community level
5. Eudra Telematics projects - Telematic projects in the pharmaceutical area
