Aims, contents and method of the course

Following subjects will be discussed:
Work and duties of ZEBET
Replacement methods of the Draize test
Cytotoxicity tests in various cell lines
CADD
Tests in isolated organ preparations
Videomicroscopy
ECTS points: 1.1

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The aim of this course is to inform about selected replacement and refinement methods of animal experiments. A lot of these methods, that are already evaluated, have been developed over the past years. Therefore animal experiments coild be reduced in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry.
