This conversatory is offered for students, active teachers in school and everybody interested in mathematics education. It consists of four talks by invited speakers from different countries with ensuing discussions:

April 30 2004, 1700: Univ.-Prof. Dr. Susanne Prediger (University of Bremen)
Brüche bei den Brüchen.
May 07 2004, 1700: Univ.-Prof. Dr. Laura Martignon (Pädagogische Hochschule Ludwigsburg )
Geschlechtsspezifische Unterschiede im Mathematikverständnis in der Schule.
May 21 2004, 1700: Univ.-Prof. Dr. Rainer Danckwerts (University of Siegen)
Perspektiven des Mathematikunterrichts in den Sekundarstufen.

In order to pass the conversatory successfully students have to attend all four talks and to write a seminar paper on one of the talks. Literature, advices and supports are disposed by the speakers and the leaders of the conversatory.
