Aims, contents and method of the course

ECTS Points: 1
In this lecture the functional role of attributes for the development of individuals /species will be presented and outlined. The following topics are discussed: Fish diversity, relationship of fishes, habitats (lakes, rivers), basic structural and functional properties, metabolism, sensoric systems, homeostasis, locomotion, food and feeding, reproduction, ontogeny, endangered species and conservation concepts.
