In this lecture an overview will be given about different ways to teach stochastic topics. Of course the actual Austrian "Lehrplan" in mathematics is always the starting point of our deliberations. Many concepts in
stochastical education exist side by side, for instance the classical and the Bayesian approach as well as an problem solving attitude to this matter. An up to date possibility for an introduction to stochastical thinking is
data based acting in order to draw some (statistical) conclusions. We can
also take an applied point of view in this case. Therefore we have to treat the three big areas in stochastical education: describing statistics,
probability theory and inference statistics.
