Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Electrostatics and dynamics, electricity in bio-systems, Fara-
day's law, alternating curreent, electrical instruments, electro-
magnetic waves, Photoelectric effect, spectra, laser. Black body
radiation, solar and infrared radiation. Atomic nucleus, radioac-
tivity, decay law, interaction with matter, protection. Heat
transfer, calorimetry, equation of state, kinetic theory. Melting
and boiling, phase diagram, humidity. Short introduction to
thermodynamics: Functions of satet, first and second law, Carnot
cycle, heat engine, heat pump.
