Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The seminar aims at a basic knowledge of the theoretical and conceptual foundations of sustainable development. Drawing on an interdisciplinary focus, key-aspects of ecology, economics, system theory and human ecology should be explained in order to serve as base for an improved understanding about problems and chances of an environmental and social sound human development. Herein, special attention will be devoted to the particular role of research on sustainability.
