Introduction in specific scientific methods particularly in the face of diploma and PhD theses. Functional aspects and causalanalytic aspects of energy and material flow in settlement ecology require furthermore integration of aspects of microclimate, plant water balance, biomass production, temperature and heavy metal resistance and mechanism of adaptations of plants on extreme habitats.
