877527 VO Physics of the Interstellar Medium (2003W)

On the basis of observations a picture of structure, components and physical states of the Interstellar Medium is derived theoretically. Furthermore, dynamical effects that are produced by stellar energy and mass impacts on the ISM will be considered. Theoretical descriptions are developed and refinements by numerical models will be presented in order to improve the understanding of observations.
