Aims, contents and method of the course

ECTS Punkte: 4
Within a c. 4-days field-trip, selected localities within the Austroalpine basement units on the Eastern Alps (e. g., Koralpe) which are relevant for the geodynamic evolution of the Alpine orogen will be visited. The major aim is to explain recently gained analytical data in front of the outcrop, and to discuss them within a regional-geologic context.
