Independent work with spectroscopic devices with the main focus on practical use of uv and ir spectroscopy in view of European Pharmacopoeia.
Content:
This course should provide practical knowledge in spectroscopic methods using ultraviolett and infrared spectrometers (in regard to the methods of the European Pharmacopoeia). Insight into the application of mass spectrometry and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy via demonstration of the institute¿s spectrometers.
Requirements:
Complete examinations in chemistry and physic subjects of the first part of the study; combination with "Spectroscopic methods of drug analysis" is recommended.
Examination type:
Permanent possibility of a short colloquium; presence obligatory.
