Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
We are going to deal with parts of Algebra which show some reference to applications. To begin with we study lattice theory first, then Boolean algebras and polynomials. With this background we can study our first main theme: switching circuits. Our second aim is Coding Theory, more accurate:
error correcting codes. It is not clear yet whether the theory of automata can be dealt with.
