Aims, contents and method of the course

Aims: Introduction to European Internal Market Law
Contents:
This is an in depth course on the internal market law of the European Union covering its governing principles, followed by the free movement of goods, persons including establishment, services, capital and payments. The course discusses thoroughly each fundamental freedom also in the Iight of the most recent case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union applying and interpreting primary Treaty law and pertinent secondary legislation. The substantial overview of European Union internal market law provided in this course enables students to understand the socio-economic and legal dimensions of this worldwide largest international internal market and to obtain and deepen their understanding of its core elements.
