Contents:
The course defines what we understand as consumer law and explains how this field of law is embedded into the legal system of the European Union. A particular focus is put on consumer contract law. The course covers the most important areas, such as off-premises contracts, distance contracts and consumer sales, including new EU legislation that is emerging in the field. A special emphasis is put on working with the respective EU directives and model cases.
