The course will provide students with an overview of the US legal system as is relevant for the conducting of business. The goal is to allow students to identify the main issues to be considered when doing business in the US, especially from the perspective of a non-US company.
Contents: Overview of US legal system, basics of business law including product liability, contract law, corporate law, employment and secondment law, dispute resolution and litigation.
