Fokus des Moduls liegt in der Entwicklungspsychologie über die Lebensspanne, von der embryonalen Entwicklung bis ins hohe Alter. Behandelte Bereiche umfassen u.a., Emotion, Sozialverhalten, Kognition, Sprachentwicklung und biopsychosoziale Komplexität von Entwicklung. Einblick in Theorien kindlicher Entwicklung sowie die Vermittlung der Zusammenhänge von Entwicklungsprozessen stehen dabei im Vordergrund. Ebenso wird der Bezug von entwicklungspsychologischem Wissen für die Tätigkeit in psychosozialen Arbeitsfelden (wie bspw. Beratung, Psychotherapie) reflektiert.
Die Vorlesungssitzungen werden durch Angebote auf Moodle (Zusatzmaterialien, Diskussionsforum, ) ergänzt.
